Beside blue-furred Momonga, Hachiware asks how they are and invites them to go gathering again. Momonga says they will not go gathering today, and Hachiware thinks about being hungry even when there is nothing they want to eat, with spaghetti coming to mind. Hachiware then asks whether there are times when someone might be able to eat despite not being hungry. Momonga is puzzled by how to take the question, and their conversation about appetite stops without reaching a conclusion.

Story guide

Momonga says they want to eat two kinds of cream and walks alone through a dry field. They scratch and dig up the ground, but what they are looking for is withered and doesn't come out. They recall how, when they previously nibbled on a small item they had acquired, it had a surprising amount of umami. Just then, Chiikawa passes by in a good mood, holding a pastry with cream on it, and Momonga catches sight of them. The next moment, Momonga screams, demanding to suck the cream, and leaps at Chiikawa, who is surprised and screams "No!", which is where it ends.

Story guide

In a grassy area where Chiikawa and Hachiware are nearby, Rakko asks blue-furred Momonga how they are. Momonga demands something, and Rakko says it is just right before offering a small container holding two sticks. Momonga tries to eat them, is startled by the spiciness at first, then quickly begins to find the taste addictive. Still holding the two sticks in their mouth, Momonga makes sounds as though asking for the pain to stop while accepting the flavor, and the post ends.
