Facing the large Ano-ko, Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi advance while keeping their distance. Parts extending from Ano-ko's body and shadows around them complicate the three's path, and Hachiware watches where their companions are. Chiikawa is overwhelmed by the size but does not look away, while Usagi readies a tool. Placing the giant outline and the small trio in the same frame makes the tension of approaching a Subjugation target clear. The focus is the sudden reduction in distance to Ano-ko and the three's effort to respond there, without stating how it will end.

In front of Ano-ko, who is holding a large piece of sushi, Chiikawa cries out in a panic. Usagi has chopsticks in hand, and voices rise complaining that their field of vision has gone monochrome. In the next scene Chiikawa and Hachiware slump down on the ground; Hachiware says they feel a little better, while Chiikawa lets out a groan. Ano-ko gives a short cry, and at their feet a green frog hops into view. Chiikawa and Hachiware startle, and then a large salmon nigiri slides in. When Ano-ko approaches, Chiikawa utters a bewildered sound, and the scene ends with Chiikawa and the others facing the frog, question marks floating around them.
