Synopsis
Studying at the desk, Chiikawa repeatedly mentions wanting a late-night snack on a sleepless night and sets off into the forest. There, a large creature with a long nose appears and demands that Chiikawa hand over the snack. Chiikawa is lifted up by the long nose, and even after the creature pulls away, Chiikawa gives chase, but the creature looms even larger.
When Chiikawa faces the large creature together with Usagi, the creature says something to the effect that 'it is safe among companions' and extends its long nose. The creature tickles Usagi with a feather-like tool, while Chiikawa tries to stop it by brandishing tools and using a large dorayaki and a yellow-green round part.
Meanwhile, Chiikawa has a dream in which a screen showing the fifth-grade Weeding Certification passers and the shadow of the large creature overlap. Beside the desk, as Usagi watches over, Chiikawa wakes up sweating and checks the paper at hand and the surroundings. Images from the dream and the real desk alternate, and Chiikawa, unable to fully grasp what is happening, faces the large creature.
