When Hachiware suggests discussing lunch, Usagi points to curry in front of a restaurant. Chiikawa joins them in looking inside, where they find an item apart from the ordinary menu marked with a flame-framed demon emblem. Unable to make out what the name means, the three take the mark to be demon-like and begin considering an order in front of the black menu.

Steaming curry is brought to the three, and Usagi begins eating without hesitation. Chiikawa and Hachiware follow, but their faces and bodies turn red as they taste it, revealing how intense the heat is. Even so, Chiikawa acknowledges that it is delicious, while Hachiware says that the spiciness will not let their mouth settle. The pleasure of eating and unbearable heat continue at the same time.

Hachiware thinks that repeatedly drinking water might ease the spiciness, but feels the irritation grow stronger the more they drink. Chiikawa drinks while sweating, and Usagi continues eating. At last the plate is empty, and Hachiware admits that the heat stings inside their mouth while saying aloud that they managed to finish it.

Chiikawa, shown as a small figure with a swaying blue tail, runs past as a large dog-like figure closes in from behind. The single image shows only the movement of pursuer and escapee, with no dialogue or text explaining what led to it. The large dog is already very close, capturing a tense moment as Chiikawa continues to flee.

After receiving the photo, Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi leave the restaurant and discuss the spicy curry. Hachiware says that they are fine because they like spicy food, then looks at the image of the three and feels that they look like demons. Just after they mention their sense of accomplishment, a loud sound rings out in the distance, and the three turn toward it.
