Outside the shop, Shisa hears a rumor that the cafe will be closing down. Nearby Yoroi-san (Armor Knight) and others talk about how it would be a shame if they lost their jobs even after obtaining the Super Part-Timer qualification, and Shisa stops in his tracks, his eyes still fixed on the shop. On another day, Chiikawa and Hachiware spot Shisa from outside carrying bowls and attending to customers at Jiro. Yoroi-san (Armor Knight) perceives that Shisa likes Jiro.

When they call out to Shisa, who is studying on a tree stump, Shisa lets out a weak sigh while still gripping his pencil. When Hachiware places a hand on his forehead, he is alarmingly hot, estimating the temperature to be around 37.5 degrees Celsius. Shisa asks them to buy some cooling gel sheets and Vaporub, so the two search for these two items at a pharmacy while checking the product names. Upon returning to his bed, they find Shisa asleep, and Chiikawa attempts to apply the ointment to his forehead without waking him.

Lying down with a fever, Shisa reflects on the rumors of the cafe closing down and the qualification system. When he wakes up at night, he voices his determination to do his best despite not knowing how things will turn out, opening a book on alcohol and running his pen across the page. To the recovered Shisa, Hachiware offers to help him with anything he doesn't understand in his Super Part-Timer studies. Afterward, Shisa chases after Yoroi-san (Armor Knight) to directly confirm the rumor that the qualification will be abolished.
