Synopsis
The commotion begins when a red octopus suctioned onto Chiikawa's cheek by the pond. Hachiware, startled and suspecting the work of a Pond Octopus, calms the situation by warning that pulling it off by force would cause it to tear, and demonstrates a procedure of gently slipping a finger into the gap of the octopus's mouth to peel it off. Chiikawa lets out a low growl and startles Hachiware with the decisive line "I'll turn you into takoyaki," while Usagi watches how things unfold while floating in the pond.
Eventually, small creatures resembling red octopuses are sighted moving in an organized line as a group. Hachiware imagines that they might be thinking about something together as companions and tries to interpret the situation positively. Chiikawa becomes surrounded by the creatures, and Pajama Parties Pink is also mistaken for one of them due to their appearance, leading the situation to develop in unexpected ways.
