Ducking into what looks like the shelter of a rocky overhang, the Yoroi-san (Armor Knight) are confused when they see boxes and a lantern placed there, wondering if it is someone's home. Deeper inside, Hachiware holds a steaming vessel and eats soft udon, and the scene ends just as one of the Yoroi-san (Armor Knight) lets out a cry of surprise.

Hachiware tells Chiikawa and Usagi about being praised for a blue ribbon and keeps returning to the happiness of that moment. The ribbon appears among Hachiware's belongings, and Hachiware handles it carefully as if trying to hold on to the feeling of being praised. Usagi also wears a small blue decoration while Chiikawa watches the two nearby. This opening is not about acquiring something, but about an object tied to praise becoming special to the person who received it.

As Shisa sits on a tree stump taking out round snacks from a bag and eating them, Chiikawa and Hachiware pass by and stop. Noticing the brown snack with purple filling peeking out, Hachiware mutters, wondering what it is, and asks Shisa what that is. Chiikawa lets out a short sound and observes the situation from nearby. After swallowing what is in their mouth, Shisa tells them the name "Satapanbin" and then offers the bag, saying "Here you go." Chiikawa and Hachiware cannot say the name well, letting out sounds like "pa" and "bi" one by one as they accept it. The story ends when they take a bite and say it is an addictive taste.

In a dark, cave-like place, Chiikawa faces two black, horned opponents with a sasumata in hand. Keeping their distance, Chiikawa holds the tool out toward them, and a bag-like reward appears after the confrontation. Beside them, Chiikawa lets out an "Ah," presses a white paper against their face, rubs vigorously, and wipes their eyes, which is where the story ends.
